While I have been updating a lot of the databases lately, I came across a few people who were killed in action in WW1. Doing some Google searches, I accidently stumbled onto one person that had a link to their war details listed on the Australian War Memorial site, so I took the opportunity to check it out and it was most interesting, so I decided to include a link on each families page to any information pertaining to that conflict. If I discover any interesting facts regarding WW2, they will be included, if possible.

Also I had been trying to determine what a "War Worker" was, as I had heard mention that my Grandfather - Robert BELL Jnr - had been in England as a War Worker during WW1. It was only in March 2013 that I came across an article in "Ancestor" Magazine - the Quarterly journal of "The Genealogical Society of Victoria Inc" (GSV) - titled "Workers for Great Britain, 1917. I finally had the answer. To view the explantion of a War Worker go here for an explanation.

So if you see the following button on a page, it means there is information about a family member/s.

If you don't want this information disclosed, please advise me on the request page.
